What is e-Transport? What is the UIT code, and how do I get it?

• e-Transport is an integrated electronic system for real-time monitoring of domestic road transport of goods subject to tax.
• The UIT code is a unique registration code assigned to each shipment, generated by the ANAF’s e-Transport system, which identifies goods posing a high fiscal risk and that are inspected on the road through traffic monitoring.
• Goods may be transported legally by registering the waybill online and obtaining the UIT code on the waybill/CMR from the ANAF Ro e-Transport server.
